The Getaway travel giveaway: terms and conditions

1. The promoter

The promoter is Republic of Florence Pty Ltd (ABN 16 168 431 696), Unit 78, 6 Bellambi Lane, Bellambi NSW 2518, Australia ("we", "us"). These terms form part of the giveaway. By entering, you accept them.

2. Promotion period

The giveaway opens at 7:00pm AEDT on Sunday 18 October 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEDT on Saturday 31 October 2026 (the "promotion period"). Entries received outside the promotion period are not valid. New Zealand entrants: 11:59pm AEDT on 31 October is 1:59am NZDT on Sunday 1 November.

3. Who can enter

1. Entry is open to residents of Australia and New Zealand aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.
2. Employees of the promoter, their immediate families, and anyone professionally connected with the giveaway are not eligible.
3. We may ask the winner for proof of age and residency before awarding the prize.

4. How to enter

1. Submit your email address through an official entry form on republicofflorence.com.au during the promotion period. No purchase is necessary.
2. One entry per person. Entering more than once, with the same or different email addresses, does not increase your chances, and we may disqualify duplicate entries.
3. Entries made through automated or bulk means are invalid.
4. We are not responsible for entries that are lost, late, or not received because of technical problems.

5. The prize

1. There is one prize: one weekender of the winner's choice from the Getaway Edit range, in any colour available at the time the prize is claimed. The eligible styles are the Beltrami, Amerigo, Magellan, Marco Polo and Polo Medium.
2. The prize is valued at the recommended retail price of the chosen bag at the time of the draw, which will not exceed AUD $729 (including GST).
3. Delivery to an address in Australia or New Zealand is included, at no cost to the winner.
4. Styles or colours that are out of stock will be delivered once back in stock, or the winner may choose another available bag. The Polo Medium is expected back in stock in mid-November 2026.
5. The prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Monogramming and other add-ons are not included.
6. If the chosen bag becomes unavailable for reasons outside our control, we may substitute a bag of equal or greater value.

6. The draw

1. The winner will be drawn at random from all valid entries on Sunday 1 November 2026.
2. The draw is a game of chance. Skill plays no part in deciding the winner.

7. Telling the winner

1. We will email the winner at the address they entered with, by 7:00pm AEDT on Sunday 1 November 2026.
2. The winner must reply within 7 days, by 11:59pm AEDT on Sunday 8 November 2026, confirming their choice of bag and colour, and a delivery address in Australia or New Zealand.
3. If the winner does not reply in time, or is found to be ineligible, the prize will be redrawn on Monday 9 November 2026, and the new winner will be contacted by email that day. They will have 7 days to claim.
4. We will announce the winner's first name and state or region by email to everyone who entered, at 7:00pm AEDT on Sunday 1 November 2026. If the prize is redrawn, we will announce the new winner the same way.

8. Your details and our emails

1. We collect your email address to run the giveaway and contact the winner.
2. By entering, you also agree to receive marketing emails from Republic of Florence. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, and unsubscribing does not affect your entry.
3. We handle your information in line with our privacy policy. We do not sell it or share it with third parties for their own marketing.

9. Social media

This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed or run by Instagram, Facebook or Meta. By entering, you release them from any liability connected with the giveaway.

10. General

1. We may disqualify any entry, or any entrant, that we reasonably believe breaches these terms or interferes with the fair running of the giveaway.
2. If something outside our reasonable control affects the giveaway, such as technical failure, fraud or other interference, we may modify, suspend or cancel it, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority.
3. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the giveaway or the prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, including your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
4. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
