One bag, three ways to carry it, and nothing to clip or unclip. Pull the straps through at the top and the backpack becomes a shoulder bag; extend them and it goes across the body. A 14-inch laptop rides in its own zipped section at the back, close to you.

The middle compartment closes on a magnetic clip and takes what needs room: an umbrella, a bottle, the day's overflow. A zipped front compartment keeps the small things to hand, and a pocket at the back sits against you, so nobody else can get into it.

All Republic of Florence pieces are handcrafted in Italy by skilled artisans, using time-honoured techniques and the highest-quality materials.

What type of leather do you use?

We use full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather sourced from select Tuscan tanneries. This leather develops a natural patina over time, giving each piece a unique character.

What’s the difference between Classica and Opaca finishes?

Both are crafted from the same full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather. Classica has a smooth, lightly polished surface for a refined sheen. Opaca has a soft-touch, matte finish with a more relaxed look. Both age beautifully, developing a rich patina over time.

How do I care for the leather?

Wipe with a soft, dry cloth to remove surface dust. For deeper conditioning, we recommend a neutral leather cream every few months. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, moisture, or extreme temperatures.

Can I personalise it?

Yes.Monogramming is available on most items. Add up to four initials in the font and placement shown on the product page.
