A real doctor's bag. The framed opening holds itself wide, so everything inside is in view, and a separate zipped compartment at the base keeps whatever you'd rather store apart from the rest.

Inside, a pocket for a tablet or a laptop up to 11 inches, smaller ones for phone and cards, and a front pocket outside for what you reach for often. A single top handle, and metal feet to keep the base off the floor.

Vegetable-tanned, full-grain, made in Italy. Only 10% of the world's leather is made this way. No synthetic coating, no corrected grain, so it looks better in five years than it does today. Same tanneries, same makers, since 2007.

We use certified, premium full-grain Italian cowhide, vegetable tanned in Tuscany by a family run tannery.

How it Wears

Vegetable-tanned leather develops depth and character over time. It evolves. It gains patina. It becomes distinctly yours.

All Republic of Florence pieces are handcrafted in Italy by skilled artisans, using time-honoured techniques and the highest-quality materials.

What type of leather do you use?

We use full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather sourced from select Tuscan tanneries. This leather develops a natural patina over time, giving each piece a unique character.

What’s the difference between Classica and Opaca finishes?

Both are crafted from the same full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather. Classica has a smooth, lightly polished surface for a refined sheen. Opaca has a soft-touch, matte finish with a more relaxed look. Both age beautifully, developing a rich patina over time.

How do I care for the leather?

Wipe with a soft, dry cloth to remove surface dust. For deeper conditioning, we recommend a neutral leather cream every few months. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, moisture, or extreme temperatures.

Can I personalise it?

Yes.Monogramming is available on most items. Add up to four initials in the font and placement shown on the product page.
