How it Wears

Style and Substance
I recently bought the Republic of Florence Magellan Espresso Leather Tech Weekender, and I absolutely love it. The leather is beautiful, soft, rich, and feels really high quality. The espresso colour looks even better in person. I also love my Rosso leather travel tag. The separate tech section is super handy, and the zips and stitching all feel really solid. I’ve used it for both work and pleasure and it has served me well. It looks like something that will age beautifully and stay with me for years. Definitely worth the investment if you appreciate quality and timeless style.

We use full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather sourced from select Tuscan tanneries. This leather develops a natural patina over time, giving each piece a unique character.

What’s the difference between Classica and Opaca finishes?

Both are crafted from the same full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather. Classica has a smooth, lightly polished surface for a refined sheen. Opaca has a soft-touch, matte finish with a more relaxed look. Both age beautifully, developing a rich patina over time.

How do I care for the leather?

Wipe with a soft, dry cloth to remove surface dust. For deeper conditioning, we recommend a neutral leather cream every few months. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, moisture, or extreme temperatures.

Can I personalise it?

Yes.Monogramming is available on most items. Add up to four initials in the font and placement shown on the product page.

Do you offer a Try at Home service?

Yes — our Try at Home service lets you experience the product in person before deciding to keep it. You’ll have 7 days from delivery to see how it feels, fits, and works for you. If it’s not right, simply return it unused and in original condition for a full refund. Monogrammed items are excluded from this service.
